Using site snippets on site pages


You can use snippets listed in the Custom tab of a site window and in the Site Extras tab of the Object palette on any page in the site.

To use a site snippet listed in the Custom tab on a Web page:

Do one of the following:
  • Drag the snippet from the Custom tab of a site window to the desired location on the page.
  • Select the snippet in the Custom tab of a site window, copy it, place the cursor at the desired location on the page, and paste.
  • Choose Custom from the menu of the Site Extras tab of the Object palette, and drag the icon for the snippet from the Custom panel to the desired location on the page.

    • The desired location can be either a layout grid or a point in the HTML text flow.
